THIS ITEM QUALIFIES AS A SINGLE-SHOT EXEMPTION FOR CALIFORNIA CUSTOMERS

This item is received by us from the manufacturer in a Single-Shot Exempt (SSE) configuration and is intended to comply with all applicable California requirements for a qualifying single-shot pistol. The firearm is configured as a true single-shot pistol using a break-top or bolt-action design, with a barrel of at least 6 inches and an overall length of at least 10½ inches, as required under California Penal Code § 32100(b). The exemption is based on the firearm’s lawful SSE configuration and does not require the purchaser to be a law-enforcement officer.

The firearm comes to us in its qualifying SSE configuration and is handled, recorded, and transferred in accordance with applicable California and federal law. It is not a completed semiautomatic pistol that has simply been converted to single-shot operation. All required dealer licensing, DROS entries, background-check requirements, waiting periods, identification requirements, and other applicable California firearm laws must still be satisfied before the firearm is delivered to the purchaser.

CALIFORNIA SSE OPTION

The MTXSP5K can be ordered in a California Single-Shot Exemption configuration for qualifying builds and lawful transfers. California SSE orders are supplied in a separately confirmed single-shot pistol configuration. Final components, dimensions, and receiving-FFL acceptance must be confirmed before ordering.

STATE & MAGAZINE COMPLIANCE

STATE COMPLIANCE: Sale, shipment, possession, and transfer are subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Firearm configuration may be restricted in certain jurisdictions.

MAGAZINE COMPLIANCE: Magazines will only be supplied in a capacity lawful for the recipient’s jurisdiction. Restricted-capacity magazines may be substituted, limited, or omitted where required by law.

CALIFORNIA: California sales and transfers are permitted only when the firearm, purchaser, and transaction qualify under applicable California law or a lawful exemption. Magazine capacity will be limited to the lawful capacity unless the recipient is legally exempt.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY: The purchaser and receiving FFL are responsible for confirming that the firearm, magazine capacity, and selected configuration are legal in the recipient’s jurisdiction before transfer.

CA OFF-ROSTER PISTOL POLICY

CALIFORNIA TRANSFERS OF OFF-ROSTER HANDGUNS REQUIRE AN APPLICABLE LAWFUL EXEMPTION. EXEMPTIONS ARE NOT LIMITED TO LAW-ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS AND MAY ALSO INCLUDE OTHER LEGALLY RECOGNIZED EXEMPT PERSONS, FIREARMS, OR TRANSACTIONS.

FOR LAW-ENFORCEMENT EXEMPTIONS, THE CALIFORNIA DOJ IDENTIFIES GROUPS 1, 2, AND 3, WITH DIFFERENT RULES FOR PERSONAL PURCHASES, SERVICE USE, AND RESALE. CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONFIRMING THEIR ELIGIBILITY WITH THEIR RECEIVING CALIFORNIA FFL BEFORE ORDERING.

IF AN ITEM CANNOT LEGALLY BE TRANSFERRED BECAUSE THE PURCHASER OR TRANSACTION DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR AN APPLICABLE EXEMPTION, THE FIREARM MUST BE RETURNED AND A 25% RESTOCKING FEE WILL APPLY. THIS IS A MIKES TACTICALS POLICY, NOT A FEE IMPOSED BY THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA OR THE CALIFORNIA DOJ.
